I was literally holding "Stranger than Fiction" and "Forrest Gump" in either hand and weighing which one I would choose. I am not really a Wil Farrell fan, but I though he was excellent in that movie!
I haven't seen "Cold Mountain," but I agree with your other choices!

Never did see Cold Mountain, but have always wanted to. I just forgot about it. Now, you reminded me! I will add that one to my list. Isn't Will Ferrell a hoot? I too think Nicole Kidman is an excellent actress.
I'm almost through the Fun Monday posts and what a range of tastes we all have in films. The only one of your choices that I've seen is Cold Mountain. Agree with your award. P.S. I like your blog template a lot.

I also more love humouristic movies or commedies, than sad and complicated things ! Life is already full of that.

I never saw cold mountain BECAUSE.. I read the book.
I read the book quite a few years ago - and once i've done that, quite often I refuse to see the movie.
I don't want someone else s imagination to screw around with mine.
